The Embassy does not keep an online queue of applications. This website takes no applications and cannot show the progress of a file: it describes the procedures and tells you where each one is carried out.
Visa applications
Visa applications are made and followed on the portals of the Nigeria Immigration Service, not at the Embassy.
- To check where a visa application stands, use the application status service of the Nigeria Immigration Service and enter the reference given when you applied.
- To check an e-Visa, use the e-Visa status page. The Nigeria Immigration Service sends approved e-Visas, with a QR code, to the email address given in the application.

Other consular procedures
Consular registration, emergency travel documents and the authentication of documents are handled by the consular section of the Embassy, by telephone, by email or at the counter. Each procedure is described on its page:
